In a strategy to foster collaboration with other information institutions, including public libraries and museums, the Library conducted an Information Literacy event on Friday, May 2, 2024, in cooperation with Pradita University's Architecture study program. With the goal to benchmark the variety of literacy services and the introduction of local culture through library building design, the event began with visiting to the Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Lebak , Miss Anindya Ambar Wati, S.S.I., M.Hum. The library coordinator conformed to with Mrs. Kadarina, S.P., M.Si., as the representative of Dispusar Kabupaten Lebak.
14 students in all, guided by Miss Marchelia Gupita Sari, S.T., M. Arch., participated in the Library Tour led by Miss Ginanda Rahmadini, S.S.I. The program then proceeded to the Multatuli Museum. Students had the chance to see a variety of dioramas that depicted Max Havelaar's lifetime and the colonial-era expansion of Banten.
Observing the Seba Baduy practice was another way that the event went on. The Baduy tribe presents natural supplies to the government, a tradition that has been practiced for many years. The event represents communication between the local populace, particularly the Baduy tribe, and the government. Especially in the context of culture-based learning to assist academic activities and as an advocate of the preservation of Banten culture, the event was lively and is expected to be an enriching experience.
